Entry status

ABF port of entry, but not on DAFF’s list of first points of entry for non-commercial vessels, so a private yacht arriving from overseas cannot normally clear biosecurity here without DAFF’s prior written permission.

Pilotage

Compulsory except for vessels under 35 m. The NSW SRV Permit applies in all NSW pilotage ports from 1 July 2026.
