Captain Richard Morris
Richard founded Australian Superyachts in 1999. He is a second-generation Master Mariner, holds an AMSA Unlimited Master Mariner certificate and is an AMSA Accredited Surveyor. He still holds seagoing command as Master of an Australian commercial ship.
From 1999 to 2009 he was contracted to the NSW Waterways Authority, later NSW Maritime, as project manager and then general manager of the Rozelle Bay Superyacht Marina. In that role he was the superyacht agent for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and acted as agent for every visiting yacht.
He was Executive Director of the NSW Superyacht Industry Association (Superyacht Sydney), which later merged with Superyacht Australia, and was named Superyacht Industry Champion at the 2016 Australian marine industry awards.

Planning, government liaison, accounts and Sydney operations are run from our office at the Royal Motor Yacht Club, Newport, on Pittwater.
Cairns, QLD
Captain Pat McLoughlin is our agency partner in Cairns and covers Far North Queensland on the ground. He is also Deputy Designated Person Ashore (DDPA) for Australian Superyachts. More about Cairns.
