Just 20 minutes flying time or 1.5 hours drive from Sydney, Newcastle is the perfect gateway for day trips or weekend visits to Sydney. Direct access is also available to all east coast capital cities and New Zealand via Newcastle Airport. Newcastle Harbour has two heliports and a daily seaplane service to Sydney that further enhances access.
